ROLLKONTOR started its business in 1904 with 6 horses, 5 wagons and 10 employees as a railroad carrier.

Over the years the horses were replaced by engines and ROLLKONTOR invested in newest technology to realize flexible solutions to customers from all over the world.

More than 11 decades experience in procurement-, warehouse and distribution logistics make ROLLKONTOR an expert in this business worldwide. The customers' requirements are at the center of their work.

In 1994, a quality management system was implemented for the first time. This system has been monitored and certified by TÜV-Süd ever since in annual audits.
In addition, new standards are specified in regularly held quality meetings which go above and beyond the actual standards in order to ensure optimum, client-oriented order fulfilment through the complete logistics process.

Enviroment, certified in compliance with ISO 14001

Alongside the consistent quality policies, environmental management is also an important component of the company. ROLLKONTOR are committed to ecological trading and thus we attempt to make our contribution to a healthier environment.

Security

Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)

The European Union implemented this security policy aspect in European law in April 2005 with the amendment of the Customs Code (VO (EC) No. 648/2005), providing further details with the publication of the implementation regulations (VO (EC) No. 1875/2006) in December 2006. A major element of this security initiative is the introduction of the status of the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO).
Since 1st January 2008, this status can be applied for by companies who are based in the European Union, and who are involved in customs business. This status entitles them to concessions with regard to customs controls relevant to safety and/or streamlined procedures under customs regulations.
The objective is the safeguarding of the complete international supply chain, from the manufacturer of the goods to the end-user. An Authorised Economic Operator enjoys a special status: He is considered to be particularly reliable and trustworthy, and can therefore take advantage of special concessions in the course of customs clearance.
ROLLKONTOR has enjoyed this status since 2008.
